Reverse Macro (リバースマクロ)

I tried this out last night with a cheap used lens that I picked up at a second hand camera shop. I have only taken a few quick snaps but was pleased with the result so far. This is a 22mm 5 yen coin. Click on the image to see a a larger resolution version of the pic. This is much better than a 1:1 macro shot!

昨日これをやって見た。簡単に言うとレンズを逆にして写真撮る。中古で安いレンズを買って作ってみた。まだあんまり撮ってないけど結果として満足してる。この5円玉は普通の１：１マクロよりかなり大きい！より大きいサイズをみるためにこの写真にクリックしてください。

Getting Lucky (ラッキーチャンス)

It's not often these guys let you get close to enough to where they perch to take a decent pic. This black kite moved a few times, but finally got used to me following him and let me get reasonably close for a decent shot. (taken on the same day as the one below)
普段、鳶は人を見たらすぐに飛んでしまうからなかなｋ良い写真撮れない。このやつは何回も移動したけど、だんだんなれてきたから近くまで行けた。（したの写真と同じ日に撮った。）
